BEFORE YOU ARRIVE

Online Pre-enrolment

  • Two weeks before you enrol on campus you will be asked to complete online pre-enrolment on the eRegistry web portal (RoVeR).
  • You’ll get an email with full instructions on how to complete this process.
  • Once you complete this process you will also get access to KickStart our online induction.
  • You will also be able to log on to the RVC app with your RVC email.
  • Once you’ve completed pre-enrolment, you’ll be able to upload a photo for your student ID to RoVeR.
  • If any of your details change later on, you can use RoVeR to update your details.
  • Once you are enrolled, there are also helpful letters available to you, such as your Council Tax Exemption Certificate and a letter to confirm your student status to your bank or landlord.
  • You will not be able to prove student status until you are enrolled at the RVC.

Kickstart

What’s KickStart?

KickStart is the RVC’s online induction that helps you to get to know all about the RVC before you arrive. It’s interactive and features videos, quizzes and activities to start your RVC journey.

How to Access Kickstart

You’ll receive a pre-enrolment email in the first week of September which will provide you with a link to access KickStart.

What’s in it?

KickStart will help you think about:

  • What it’s like to study in HE
  • What are the digital; wellbeing, academic and personal skills you need to succeed in your first year.
  • Get to know more about your course.
  • Get to know more about the RVC community.

Download the RVC App

The RVC app gives you quick and easy access to timetables, library, IT the Student support services and more - direct to your smartphone/tablet.

You can also use it to browse Welcome Week and 5 Ways to BE Well events. You’ll be able to log in to the RVC app once you complete pre-enrolment.
